DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!

Starting from the arrival when we found out that though we did reserve a room with 2 double beds, we found out that we have to pay extra $55 for my wife as apparently the hotel sells the rooms by the person, though I was the one who booked and paid for the room $292.50 and confirmation email did not have any information about it: Your reservation 4 nights, 1 room Check-in Wednesday 14 February 2018 (15:00 - 00:00) Check-out Sunday 18 February 2018 (until 12:00) Breakfast Breakfast is included in the room rate. Lunch Lunch is not included in the room rate Dinner Dinner is not included in the room rate Payment You have paid your booking via Visa in the amount of US$292.52. Your reservation is now confirmed. The receptionist refused to give us the keys until we paid $55, so the cost of the room became US$128.13 per night. When I offered to pay that extra amount by the card, we were told that payment should be in cash only. When I asked for the receipt, it was given very reluctantly. The room was absolutely disgusting. Next day I asked to see the manager but was refused as the manager "was not there".

Dirty and very expensive for the money you pay for.
Nothing, dirty place and water leaking inside the toilet through the roof. Main toilets flooded with sewage and not getting cleaned.

Awful
Nothing. I can’t give one positive experience.
Water leaking in the bathroom through the roof. Bath was rusty. Water leaking everywhere in the hotel. Swimming pool was empty. Food was awful. Very run-down, not what I was expecting after looking at the photos displayed. Over-priced. Not good value for money.

What was the highlight of Chateau Miramar Havana
Hotel Cubanacan Chateau Miramar - Good value! This place is a good base for touring Havana and many tours will pick you up from here. Friendly staff and helpful. A nice average place to stay which is good value for money. They had oat milk as a dairy free alternative and accommodated adapted menu to offer a gluten free alternative also. I would revisit. The cost of a taxi to the airport was $20 CUC and the hotel reception exchanged money. Wifi cards are also available to purchase by the hour.
